After 26 years of nurturing and fine tuning, the Kentish Lions have made the decision that the Triple Top Mountain Run has now outgrown the club.

Lion Frank Atkins said “It has just become too much for Liz and I to handle.  We thank all of the supporters of the event over the years, especially the SES and the sponsors.”

The Kentish Lions Club has found a new operator to run the event.  Ultrain owners John Claridge and Amy Lamprecht will now take over the event.  Both have been competitors in the event over many years and know only too well all the difficulties of the course and are experienced in running other events in Tasmania.

The Kentish Lions Club will continue to support the event in any way it can and wishes John and Amy all the best for the future.

“Thanks to the Lions Club and to everyone who has supported the event over the years.”
